Kirsty Anderson is a freelance photographer who lives and works in Scotland.

She has worked for the last twenty years as a senior staff photographer at the Herald Newspaper Group. She has covered a diverse range of assignments including news, features and events in her role working across prestigious national newspapers and magazines. Kirsty however, is most at home creating strong environmental portraits, striking fashion editorials and lifestyle features.

A Glasgow School of Art Fine Art Photography Graduate, Kirsty has travelled extensively and undertaken many foreign assignments with her camera throughout the years. She aims to create pictures which reflect a sensitivity, empathy and understanding of people and the environment.

Influenced by her Fine Art background, her work and approach shows attention to detail and sense of wit. She has a passion for story telling and natural curiosity in the world around her.

Highlights of Kirsty’s career have included winning the Getty Images Magazine Photographer Of The Year award. She has been privileged to work with some of the most talented actors, musicians, models, artists and personalities of our time.
